Personal History

Billie Cole was born in Australia and instantly from a young age had a passion for singing, music and the creative Arts. She performed with many Australian musical production companies as a child playing the role of Dorothy in "The Wizard of OZ", Peter Pan, Annie, Sound of music, South Pacific, King and I, Oonadatta and Grease to name a few. As she grew into her teenage years her passion became that of the 1940's Jazz. She worked as a professional Jazz singer at the age of 16 performing with many celebrities in Australia and internationally- Sergio Foechi (Jazz pianist for Louis Armstrong) and Gil Askey (Musical director for Motown- Jackson 5, Diana Ross, Temptations) in all the top clubs across Australia and overseas as well as television (Goodmorning Australia, Hey hey Its Saturday,Ernie and Denise show as well as Jazz TV Melbourne Australia and radio, with jazz combo's and pop R&B bands. Billie trained at the Galani Lees Conservatorium of Music in both singing technique and music theory in Jazz and Classical for 4 years under one of the worlds top 10 tenors Mr.Ron Lees (who performed leading roles with the late great "Kathryn Grayson" Madam Butterfly and the Mario Lanza story). Billie started BCM in 1990 and it incorporated both the creative and technical development of young and established talented singer, entertainers. Billie at the age of 19 at different events and gigs kept being requested by many artists for assistance with singing lessons and wanting help with their careers. This is where the passion of vocal training and Artist development kicked in. using the skills taught by her training from the incredible Ron less, Seth Riggs and personal experience learn't she found she had a gift for developing and training artists in the technical, styling, confidence building and full artist development package. The gift was in the development of basic talent to great voice which can be viewed before and afters below.
